A resident of Houston, Harris County, Texas for more than 36 years, Ed Rutledge has been engaged in general real estate practice since 1962. In 1972 he became a Texas Real Estate Broker and opened his own company in 1977 emphasizing the sale, development, marketing management, property management and appraisal of real property.
As a real estate broker, he has completed appraisal reports for governmental agencies, banks, savings associations, estates and individuals, covering the valuation of many types of properties; included in the list are warehouses, office buildings, shopping centers, vacant land, churches, marinas, medical offices, and individuals in Harris, Fort Bend, Galveston, Montgomery, Chambers, Jefferson, Dallas and Tarrant Counties, Texas.
Mr. Rutledge has qualified as an expert witness of matters pertaining to real estate values and improvements for and in Harris and Galveston County Appraisal Districts, Harris and Galveston County District Courts, and Harris County Federal Court.
Over the past 10 plus years, Mr. Rutledge, has been involved in the property management of several retail shopping centers in the Clear Lake Area; including El Dorado Shopping Center, Space Center Plaza, Clear Lake Plaza and Jack's Plaza in Baytown.
Additionally, Ed Rutledge, is happy to have added Mary Kennedy and Wayne Rutledge to the commercial sales/lease team at Ed Rutledge Associates.
